For those people who as yet do not know this truly delightful Village may we list a few points of interest and convenience. Around the picturesque Village Green there is: a Chemist, Post Office, Hair Salon, General Store/Off Licence, two Country Inns with Restaurants and also on a Wednesday ‘The Chip Shop Boys’ arrive to cook delicious Fish and Chips. The Village has a Cricket Club, Tennis Club, an Amateur Dramatics Society,  Football Team, a much used Village Hall plus other activities too numerous to mention. Golf Courses abound locally plus there are a variety of water sports on offer at Bewl Water in nearby Lamberhurst. Villagers are extremely proud of the Village Primary School and its excellent reputation. For schooling in the private sector one has a wide choice all within a reasonable driving distance. Paddock Wood Railway Station provides services to London, and a Railway link to the Euro Star. The easily accessible A21 connects with the M25 and the Coast. Part of Horsmonden will be within the Cranbrook School Catchment Area from September 2012.
